Snow and Ice Storm of 2008

This is what our front and back yards look like so far for the day. It started snowing here last night around 5:15pm, it has either snowed or had freezing rain ever since. It is mostly freezing rain which of course is causing the roads to be horrible. It is almost like a solid sheet of ice to be driving on, so thankfully my boss closed our clinic down today, we had no heat and Kayla's daycare was on a two hour delay as well. So it all worked out in the end. She is really upset because she wants to go outside and play in the snow, but I told her that it was raining and really cold and that maybe we could when Daddy got home from work, which it will be time for dinner by that time. So we will see. Hope everyone is doing well. Try to stay dry and safe if you have to go out in crazy weather.
