Well, it has been quite a while since I have posted anything. Everything is going great with us. I am home today, hanging out with Paul and Kayla, just spending a family day together. Paul turned 29 last Saturday, so we had a wonderful but busy day. We went to lunch with his family and celebrated, then we had about 30 people come over to our house for a cookout--Laurie you rock thanks for the awesome hamburger meat!!!!-we had hamburgers, hot dogs, Shelia's famous baked beans---thanks for recipe!, potato chips, UK themed cupcakes-I know that is a shocker since Paul eats,drinks, and sleeps UK anything, and of course our fair share of adult beverages. A good time was had by all. Paul is still working like crazy, but at least he loves his job, so that is important. I am getting ready to start a new job on June 2nd, which is scary since I have been in my current position for 5 years, so it is a huge leap for me. But my new job somewhat fell in my lap and it was one that I felt I couldn't pass up, especially since it is more money and better benefits, which is always important. I can also wear medical scrubs instead of dress clothes all the time, yeah I won't have to be on a first name basis with the dry cleaner anymore. YEAH!!!!!!!!
I am sure there are things that I am forgetting to update everyone on, but I just can't seem to think of it now. I am taking Kayla to the Louisville Zoo this Saturday, which will be our first trip ever, so I will take lots of pictures and update the blog hopefully on Sunday. I wish I could find more time to update it more often, like Becs does, but I seem to think about after I have laid down in bed for the night and thinking about all the things i should have done before I went to bed and promise myself I will do the next day. Oh well, maybe that will be my New Year's Resolution this coming year, that will probably be easier to keep then reducing the amount of caffeine I drink or the amount of fast food I eat or something like that. LOL!!! :-)

I'm sure if I prioritized better my house would be cleaner, other things would be finished and my blog wouldn't be updated. Ha ha! I am just excited for an update from you anytime!
Happy Birthday, Paul! I still have my UK sandals from your wedding! I might have even worn them on the party day- Saturday? It was my triathlon day and they were my shoes to wear there and back.
So Kayla is doing better after the surgery and such? We were just talking about the zoo and how we have never taken Lexie. We plan on going soon. IN two weeks we are doing Disney again while Lexie is still free and with great FL resident specials. Can't beat those deals when they come up!
Good luck with your new job. Sometimes the things that fall in our lap really are the best ever! Its always when you're not looking...
Have a happy mother's day! I would love to stay in bed and lounge, but I suspect we will end up at the local aquarium (because I can get in free) and then we are going to my Grandma's too. I do think Paul will wake up with Lexie, get me Starbucks and the newspaper and hopefully make the cinnabuns I bought at the story... I certainly have hinted enough that that is what I would like!
